Looking for a Scottish C5 Owner

Hi guys,

I'm in the market for a C5 corvette but need to try one out for size before taking the plunge (I'm 6 foot 5). I recently located a Glasgow owner who has a '98 C5 but his driver's seat motor was broken and so I couldn't try things out behind the wheel. I'm hoping that this post might come to the attention of a Scottish owner who would be happy for me to check out their C5. Thanks.

Martin, I was going to suggest trying the Corvette Club forum, but I see you've posted there already.
If you're on Facebook, then maybe try the "Classic Corvette Club UK Group".

I've got a C5 and a friend has one too that you can have a look at, both 2001 years and a manual and auto. I'm in Broughty Ferry and my friend is in Blairgowrie.

There will be a yellow C5 at Clydeside Cruisers event at Lochbar near Lochwinnoch on Sunday. It belongs to my mate Ian who is very comfortable fitting in it at 6 foot 4. I'll be there too, but probably not in my vette, unless it's a rainy day.

Hi folks, not only did I find some Scottish C5 owners, I also took the plunge and bought a gorgeous 1999 Auto C5 targa in red which has covered a mere 51k miles.

Unfortunately, I will soon lose my garage space due to a house move so if anyone is looking for a very well looked after example, please get in touch.
