Don't want to start the moaning again but some of you may have seen on TV or read in the papers at the weekend about the guy that had 2 of Her Majesty's finest try to nick him for having no water in his windscreen washer bottle and a loose connection...while he was sitting in his house with his car PARKED out side !!!! How ridiculers.

AND at a time when crime figures released at the end of last week show, yet again, that crime (real crime that is, uno the type our police are scared of) is on the increase. Of course the press and public opinion displayed dismay at this.

Yet today my mother said the rush hour traffic getting into Great Yarmouth today was a nightmare with massive tail backs because the police up there decided to hold spot checks and were pulling every sixth car to check the windscreen washer and were nicking when they could (3 points uno)they were also checking that drivers were carrying de-icer as well ....quite why I don’t know as de-icer is not a legal requirement and most drivers that care about their cars wont use it as it damages paintwork.

Brett -now living in the Republic de Blair, formally know as the UK.

Maybe there are a few good coppers, like the one behind me last night when I was doing 90 in the ZR up the Staines bypass. Before I knew it, this black Saab was up my chuff, flashing his headlights with the blues on, but he never stopped me. I was behind him at the next set of lights, but he never did anything.

Was he a Vette fan or is there a NIP already in the post?

In my opinion if the roads are dry and your not taking the p155 then thats all they do....see you in court
