I think I should nominate myself for this award after last night.

Had a good time at the Kent meet last night right up until kicking out time. It was then that I couldn't find my keys....

....yes they were in the car but not only had I locked my car keys in the car, I had also managed to lock my house and garage keys in it as well along with my nice warm coat. Nearly managed to get in with a wire coat hanger but it just wasnt strong enough. Finally got into it at about 1.30am.

Top marks to Gary and Stephen, both stayed with us and to the manager of the Wharf who lent me his torch and brought out coffee etc

OOPS ! Go to the back of the class immediately ! Haven't done that myself for ages. Were you on your own or will Kerenza be reminding you of this event on a cold dark night for years to come ?!??!

Whilst standing there in the cold, dark car park with Mr Irons for company, did he by chance, relate the story of another plonker (ME) who did exactly the same thing but in a car park in Belgium! Not only that, but when I did get the keys, the ruddy battery had gone flat. Not much fun with an auto box. Luckily one very nice Belgian person came to my rescue with a shiny set of jump leads. Competition for the plonker of the week award?

Yes he did mention you.

I just don't know how I did it I am usually so careful with my keys. Mine wouldn't start once we got in - thought it had a flat battery but after I was pushed to the other side of the car park I remembered I still had the jump leads I packed in the back when we went to Le Mans. It turned out to be a loose kill switch.

I have misplaced one of the sets of keys to the Z06.

When we went to the States a few weeks ago, I "hid" the keys somewhere in the house. Now I can't find them...Doh!

Not the warmest of nights to be locked out the car, was nice to come down and meet you and the rest of the corvette club, very friendly bunch.

'Nearly managed to get in with a wire coat hanger but it just wasnt strong enough...'

But the brick through the targa top did the trick, right?
