Dear God, I don't go on the site for ONE day and then suddenly there are hundreds of post to reply to!

To JT, age is a state of mind and all I can say is yours is in a right state!

To Eric TB, all I have to say is I am not proud that my brain has space for Brian and Michael.....

To Kenski,

DON'T PANIC!!

I only changed the outer rear lights, and yes, they don't have the horizontal stripes, but they only show up at night. Personal choice, as you get 4 lenses you can change all 4 or as I did keep 2 originals and then add 2 aftermarkets.

The slots in the front fenders behind the wheels is where I have my side repeaters. The grills in the gills you refer to are these:

<a href="http://www.westcoastcorvette.com/shop_online/prod_detail.cfm?id=763">www.westcoastcorvette.com/shop_online/prod_detail.cfm?id=763</a>

Look at the picture and image a small lense hiden behind the mess and hopefully you will understand what I am on about.
You have to fit the side repeaters on the side of the car as the ones on the front corners where the DLRs are, don't provide the correct angle of visibility to satisfy the SVA test.

Nige - I agree as to the state of my mind... I'm actually proud of it but I don't want to go further down that road for fear of scaring people.

ETB - you should fire a few pop trivia at Graeme (VetteG), he's got a great memory for names.

Ken - the location Nige is talking about is where they put Cliff's surplus of chicken wire from his hen parties.

Just because I am prone to having senior moments doesnt mean that I am a bad person!! I actually think that its bad form for one member of the Moscow PistonHeads to make derogatory remards about another. I would mention his name in here but I've forgotten it! But he drives one of them new fangled ZR1's

Okay, well maybe I should get myself some of those screens then, before I come back... right now they're just stock 'holes'...

Alternatively, how far back does he place them? Would they be unsightly if the screens weren't there?

Having said that, the screens kinda look cool... I'll send Paul an email too, but I believe he's not around right now.

Pop trivia... if you were in the States in the '80's and were listening to 'Don't Go'... which band would be playing it?

Yazoo.....oh no he's got me started......Alison Moyet/Vince Clarke ex of Depeche Mode before he formed Erasure.

Released in the UK as a 'B' side, Stupid Americans played the wrong side and instant hit!

Was a great song though......(I owned it).

Bzzz...

I'm sorry, but that's the WRONG answer!!!! It was an unfair trick question, though. I had this running argument with my partner (who's american) as to which band Alison Moyet fronted. In the UK they were Yazoo, but in the States (which was the question) the band was called Yazz. You can imagine the argument we had about who performed 'The Only Way Is Up'.

The Americans do love to rebrand things. Anyone for a previously cared-for car?

I'm sorry, I know that was a mean trick, but I couldn't help it :-)

PS Sorry again for the trick question :-)
