Perhaps you could do something like the TVR Sagaris?

Wayne - you were bang on with the Sagaris. I'd never seen it before, but that front-end would look awesome on a vette - it certainly takes a lot from the C3, so I'm gonna have a go at knocking something up like that.

For those of you who haven't seen it - check it out:

I've got to say, I think this will be the one. I just need to make sure I can re-engineer it to use the vettes side-lightsindicators...

Funny how tastes differ, that TVR is one of the most horrific designs I've ever seen, still better than a C6 though!

Trouble with TVR is they don't seem to be able to realise when they've got a great design (TVR Cerbera, yes please - sorry about that on a 'vette forum) - what the hell are they doing with their lights lately, - they're all over the place!

That C1 / C5 isn't as pure Corvette as one I've seen which I can't find any pics of (it costs an absolute fortune though!) but I quite like it, very Ferrari 550...

Col - Personally, I also like that TVR front. Well aggressive.
But, from a practical standpoint do you not think you'd have to make some kind of provision in the centre, maybe below, but central anyway for a direct air flow to the rad? Then again, that may only require a minor mod in respect of the overall work you'd be doing anyway. You never know, if done right, it might even make it look better still.

I saw a Sagaris at the Autosport show in January and I loved the look of it. It has a vertical perspex rear spoiler on the back and exhausts that exit sideways behind the rear wheels.
I love the slits in the bonnet, which apparently is to stop front wheel lift at 180 mph +

I wouldn't have thought so - the Vette front end at the moment doesn't have direct rad air-flow - flow is provided through the small front vents. I'd just be making the vents a lot bigger!

If you take that plastic scraper spoiler underneath off, you'll find that grabs most of the cooling air.

On the Z28, all the intakes at the front are blanked off, all the cooling is from underneath.
