LSD.. what do I need?
Discussion
Ok, so that didn't take long. Late (06) K series. 5 speed box (if it makes a difference) - what do I need to look for if I want to put an LSD in, and is it worth considering a secondhand one, or do they need rebuilding often enough I'd be daft to put a s/h one in without a rebuild / may as well just bite the bullet?

I'd go for a decent plate diff, where the ramp angles can be set to give different lock up behaviours under both acceleration and deceleration. I'd only go for a Titan diff. Given the Caterham isn't too hard on plates, I'd be less worried about going for their carbon plate pack. Make sure you use the *exact* oil they specify though, as this will affect wear and behaviour.
For road and track with an engine up to 210, I'd say quaiffe. Had that for 9 years in mine and it was absolutely fine. Decent performance and very reliable. Above 210 it struggles on track to control everything. Titan better for that but needs more careful looking after as mentioned above.
