Pretty sure the std part is a Mocal unit, you could speak to Think Automotive, they may know

Yes standard sandwich plate, ie. nothing complicated such as a thermostatic one.

Thanks

that's one question answered.

Second question is the breather line at the top a standard -3 or does it have a restrictor in the fitting

IIRC there's a one-way valve or restrictor arrangement in the breather hose but I can't help with any more than that.

You can buy a one way valve for the top breather hose from Think Automotive that prevents tank drain down when the engine is off, otherwise its just a regular fitting.

There is a restriction at the top of the tank (about 2mm.dia). It allows the air to escape, but keeps the oil/oil pressure loss to a minimum. The non-return valve is a sensible (additional) option.

I have just bought a second hand apollo for a sigma (figure it will help with cooling and supply when tracking, sigma is reputed to have a marginal old capacity) and found the mounting brackets are all available from Caterham so looks fairly easy to fit, need to move the expansion tank, good luck
