Sorry for what is going to be a DHU question,.... I am running 13" rims with Hoosier slicks 20.5 X 7.0 x 13 front and 22.0 X 8.0 X 13 on the rear

I need a second set of tires (wet) I am having trouble finding 4 bolt 13" rims in the US that will work

15" rims offer more options but how do I raise the rear and front cycle wings to accommodate a bigger rim/tire combo as now my cycle wings are only a few cm from the tire.

Do I just need to run a low profile tire?

Thanks

Caterham sell wingstays for 15 inch wheels, and 15s fit the rear with no modifications. That said, the cars work better on 13s, though we have more choices available to us in the UK, we use either Avon ZZS or ZZR , which is a track focused tyre, or Toyo R888R.

You don't say how old the car is , originally the cars had Triumph Hubs, and cars built from I don't know, but at least mid 90s are ford hub spacing,. what that means is the PCD measurement, the space between the bolts on the hub are 108mm, or 4.215 inches. The offset of the wheels, the ET number is normally 24.

Forgot to add, typically in the UK we use either 6 inch rim widths front and rear, keeps the car 'playful' though cars with over 200 bhp have 6 inch fronts, and 8 inch rears,

Thanks unfortunately my only two choices are the ones above 5.5 is the widest I can get.

I am back in the UK in August but I want to bring back soooo much stuff from Caterham 4 rims aint gonna fit + the wife might get suspicious on how much money I am actually spending on this car.

I think these rims translate into........ a little more attention to the handling
