It’s finally time to treat the car to new wings all round- old ones very tired and loads of little cracks forming!

What’s the general feel about the non Caterham wings you see around- generally a lot cheaper but just wondered what the general quality and fitting is like?

I hesitate to comment on a Caterham question as a Westfield owner bit I've just purchased some playskool carbon effect cycle wings and they seem really well made.

I put some Ultimate Carbon cycle and rear wings on last year - love ‘em!

They’re not outrageously expensive, good quality and, of course carbon, sorry, light-weight!

There is a brand new pair of rears up for sale on eBay at the moment... so you might get a bargain.

Have an eye on those ones on EBay!

Think most likely to be the fibreglass ones rather than carbon though

I put new rear wings on mine recently that I got from Redline £120 each, they fitted really well the problem was getting to old ones off 😡.

The website is http://www.redlinecomponents.co.uk/ but it doesn't show stock I believe. 07949504859 gets Chris (there's a landline too, 01883 346515, but there may be probs due to reorg at the moment). Sales@Redlinecomponents.co.uk works too.
