Prospective Caterham buyer - off-site storage?
Discussion
Hi all,
First post on the forums.
I've always wanted to own a Caterham and I'm getting closer to be able to do so. However one quandry I still need to work out is where to keep it.
I'm in the situation of not having a driveway/garage and only an allocated space for the daily runner (not that I would want to keep a Caterham like that anyway).
So I just wanted to see if anyone is in a similar situation and how you store your car off-site? Are there any recommendations that don't break the bank that would otherwise wipe out the 'fun car' budget?
Cheers in advance.

I keep mine in a council garage, £32 a month. I was worried about security originally as it has 3 blocks of flats surrounding it so lots of people able to see it coming and going but it's been kept there a year and had no issues so far. It's only a five minute drive so not too much of an issue if I want to go for a quick blat.
Would suggest....
On the security front:
1. Battery isolator key
2. Removable steering wheel
3. Locking wheel nuts and fuel tank cap
On the storage front:
1. Garage with a power supply (for a Trickle charger)
2. C-Tek MXS 5.0 Trickle Charger - to keep your battery in perfect condition
3. Car cover to throw over it to keep the dust out and make it less obvious what's under it
