Is it worth taking a spare fuel container on the NC500? I'm in a 1.8 S3 and petrol stations can be far between on some legs. Anybody had any problems?

I am a regular on the route with a range of about 100 miles in my 620R, never been an issue but I do take a bottle of octane booster as not all garages have premium fuel.
Enjoy the trip

100 miles ... either you're only getting 15 miles to a gallon or you've a helluva lot left in the tank!

Taking it easy I can get 140 tops, but it is a small tank

At Knockhill I have had the tank empty in 45 miles and that includes a gentle 6 mile run up from Drum petrol station!
It does like a drink!

Craig
What is the octane booster you are using?

You really need to get a light weight shoe for your right foot instead of that diver's boot
