Ooh nostalgia night - I had a 2000/X superlight - with lumenition ignition and throttle bodies got to 160 bhp. Had to sell it to find the money for plumbing in our barn conversion 12 year ago. Loved that car
Lovely car, I remember it well smile

My first Superlight, a 1.8 car, was my favourite of all the 7's I owned.....

The Acb10s were the master stroke. Nice and grippy, but brilliant to slide.

Not just that, they are bloody light!!!

A certain orange super light is sliding very well on Avon ZZRs, I'd love to try back to back with acb10s but tough to do on same day to optimise set up on both. Certainly needs a chunk more neg camber on the ZZRs as you'd expect...

Thanks guys, very helpful.

I'm in a pickle really . Do I spend 18.5k on a 2000 superlight or 19 k on a 2011 Supersport 1.6 Sigma 140bhp!!!

This is so difficult lol
Its not about the year, its about the condition, chassis, bodywork any ally corrosion between chassis and bodywork, you could find a good condition 2000 superlight and a Minging car that's a decade older let alone engine and running gear.
