If you built your own Caterham would you have paid for someone to help for a day or two?

Just wondering as my brother in law looks like his current job is going (Mitsubishi pulling out of rallying) but his last job was building and maintaining the Caterhams up at Bedford Autodrome.

So he knows what goes where, was wondering about getting him set up to be a mobile mechanic to help problem solve or get people back on schedule etc. Do you think there would be demand for it or does the factory provide enough support?

I built my own and to be honest it's so easy I'm not sure there would be a demand.
If people don't want to build they can get a factory built one which I understand but if you've decided you fancy building it's just so easy.

Now mobile Caterham service with factory approval and a Caterham stamp would be a very good iea as there are loads of folks who want the car serviced but can't be arsed to dirve it to the not so local service centre due to weather etc.

I'd be interested for one!

Thanks for that, I guess the "build support" is not a goer (was thinking of bunging him a few quid to build me one but I dont have the cash to do it right now).

Yep second that view. Thats why I bought a kit, so I could build it! Support from factory is very good. And if you post on blatchat, you get over run with requests to come and help you!

After the car is built? now thats a different story!
