How easy are chassis repairs?
I've seen a car that has some off-side rear damage.
Doesn't look too extensive.

Speak to Arch they are best to get the work done. They made the chassis and do all the motorsport repairs. If you strip down and rebuild yourself. costs are reasonable. really depends how much work the car needs!

not any more... speak to phil squance at caged. All their steel is laser cut and is guaranteed to be a perfect fit.

Yes, but I doubt it'll retrofit a car of this age...they also weld, not braze IIRC - I don't know whether that'd have any affect on backwards compatibility.

I've often thought of buying a damaged repariable, but these cars have been written off for a reason - add in the cost of an Arch long front and the labour and parts associated with fitting one of those and the money soon adds up. Buy a written off supersprint for anything over £4k and it will have been cheaper to have bought a straight one in the first place, especially if you restrict your resale market by going for a live axle, short cockpit 4 speed car.
