Great to see Caterham following in the footsteps of Westfield again.
I think you will find that Shawspeed were the first to use this engine in a LSIS and in fact supplied Westfield and Quantum with their first Sigma engines. The Sigma in my Shawspeed car has been tuned to 178bhp just with cams, exhaust and Omex and is a flyer. Expecting to get over 200bhp when I add a set of Jenveys next winter. 'This engine will replace the Pinto as the Kit car industry preferred engine'- quote from a very well known kitcar magazine editor after testing my car! Also see the write up in PPC magazine where the 1.6se powered Shawspeed was judged by three racing drivers as better than the Caterham!
