Whilst some people do use Sevens as their daily driver, for most they are their sunny day toy, But I guess this is not the point of the survey. They wanted a BRITISH car, trouble is not so many of those around these days are there? If you had a quiz question. which asks `Name a BRITISH road car which was designed in the 1940`s, and has been in production since the early 1950`s, the top versions of which can generally outperform almost almost any other production car (see Birkett 6 hour race for details), was excluded from races because it was branded as being `too fast' car' and which ran in a Grand Prix, was included in a TV series, held the 0-100-0 record untill only recently. It is also excluded from historical road racing events for the same reason it was excluded from earlier events. Almost anyone can produce a car which can do some or all of the foregoing, trouble is they usually costs from £50.000 upwards!

Don't think there was an awful lot of IP or e-mail address validation going on. I think us members of the Lotus 7 Club over on Blatchat might have had something to do with the result!!!
