I e-mailed Doug the other day. His reply was that he knew it was down but he hadn't been home to fix it and didn't give any indication of when he was going to do it.

Woof - thanks, I can see the changes already! I cant get over the fact that Caterham arent lending support. Maybe they have something else planned? Anyway, it all looks very good to me! Will see if I can tempt so other grads over!

Hi

We'll improve the whole site as well as the forum as time allows
There's a slight glich at the moment where some of the links are pointing the wrong place within with forum.

Re Caterham - I can't say too much about it. Apart from that we were very disappointed - not just for the financial reasons, but because Caterham was such a family of suppliers and customers and they were our first client back in 1995 !

Things are definitely going to improve there though with Andy's return

The new site looks OK - no comment about the concept being very familiar

The CaterhamRacing.com forum looks well supported and should work well. Caterham won't advertise it though and plan their own forum in due course (although no timetable exists for this it seems).

If we want to get it known to the racers then we'll have to do it ourselves. I would suggest a flier to be handed out at Snetterton. I'm happy to assist with this if someone want to e-mail something to me.

I've spoken to Andy Noble, Magnus and Kim today
We all get along and Andy's going to see what's going on with Ansar and hopefully we'll be back to happy families soon

What's the timetable on Sunday ?

Caterham promised it when I did the academy. They didnt even keep the results up to date on the website. I know this dissappointed a lot of us. Thankfully we dougie's site, and all was well.

Sunday's provisional program is as follows

Sunday

Caterham Roadsport B RACE 1 11:40 12:00
Pirelli Ferrari Open RACE 2 13:00 13:20
Caterham Roadsport RACE 3 13:35 14:05
Pirelli Ferrari Formula Classic RACE 4 14:20 14:40
Caterham Roadsport B RACE 5 14:55 15:15
Pirelli Ferrari Open RACE 6 15:30 15:50
Caterham Roadsport RACE 7 16:05 16:35
Pirelli Ferrari Formula Classic RACE 8 16:50 17:10

It seems likely that an additional Roadsports round will be run given the number of entrants. Maybe they can kick those boring Ferraris into Monday.......

I'm sure we can get one person from each group to send results in on a sunday night.

Rather worryingly the new forum seems to be demonstrating some "issues". For some reason the Roadsports "New Forum" topic seems to be randomly deleting posts. A couple of hours ago we had 14 posts, now we have five!

We will need it to be stable and reliable before we start promoting it to potential users.

New forum looks like a nice idea. Is is worth adding a section for Eurocup/Masters? When you're ready it might be worth posting a thread on blatchat to spread the word ?

Nigel
