Just had an e-mail from Piers at Caterham
"I feel that yourself and your fellow competitors should be aware that the caterhamracing.com site is operating illegally and I anticipate it will be shut down within weeks. I regret that this may take away a valuable communications medium, however the legal process was already in motion some months ago.
We will endeavour to provide a forum on the Caterham official website for competitors ASAP as per my previous email."

To quote from Caterham's own press release on their new web site.....
"The initial launch is only the first step" explains Caterham's Marketing Manager, Piers Drake. "New features and content will be added during 2007 and beyond. In Q1 2007 we will go live with an improved online store and translated content for our international customers. The new site will also bring Motorsport to the fore with all the action, information and results from our 2007 Caterham Motorsport race championships now featured on caterham.co.uk."
"Later in 2007 we intend to launch new online resources for existing owners, such as a technical support forum and online build manual. Beyond that we intend to add a car configurator, some exciting multimedia elements and a few other things we can't share at this stage! "

Your lucky, I am still waiting for a response from Piers. Magnus called me to explain Piers was very busy and doesn't always have the time to respond, afetr I posted on this forum, clearly this is read more often than Piers inbox.
Magnus didn't mention anything about trying to shut the site down, a little petty if its true.
All a bit dissapointing really..........Maybe C's arent the way to go next year
