Nick - if you want to race this year as a novice I would buy this car http://www.graduates.org.uk/forsale/default.asp?it...

You will not find a Classic Grads car in better condition and there are several novices on the grid ensuring close racing and good company.

Dreamer - you're still v welcome to nip round one Friday if you want :-)

Yep its on my list of things to do ! Just waiting for a Friday when I'm at home and it's not p*ssing it down redface

In fact how are you fixed for tomorrow, assuming it doesn't rain hard !!

Just got 8 tyres I need to get fitted, but the cage is all bolted in now and the car seems to start ALMOST every time (touch wood!)

Great racing at Donnington last week! Looked like brilliant fun from the grandstands!

Re racing series - apart from the cost of buying a car, what is a reasonable annual budget for Grads, Supers or Megas?

I camp at the circuit rather than hotels and don't pay for fuel for the tow car. Full season in Megas including testing is around £7k for me. Excludes major accidents
