Hi Ruby

Picked it up yesterday,one word for it, FAST. My shift lights are not working for some reason, dont know if its anything to do with the stack dash or not (?),my first impressions are not to give it any on bad road surfaces, but on smooth roads its very impressive.

I'm not sure mine do either (and I'm not sure whether they are linked in any way to the Stack sensor?). I did reprogramme the shift light on the Stack itself - it was set to 9200. ...and you're right,best not give it too much on bad surfaces or until it's straight...until you're used to it and then you can have some fun. Is it shod with CR500s?

The ACES shift system doesnt have anything to do with the stack unit IIRC and I remember that the STACK intructions differ from CC in that CC swaps button 3 and button 4 around. so any reference to button 3 in the stack manual is actually button 4 on the car.

Isn't the Caterham version of the Stack different to the off the shelf one too? Broadly similar, but think some functions are different;

Just like the Aces shift light, the “standard” Stack on my car had some of the options missing, I suppose less cost to CC!!

Speaking to Stack they said no problem, send it back and we can load some options back into the unit

if its the older style stack as fitted to the R500, buttons 3 and 4, or 1 and 2 should bring up the list of parameters. Such as wheelspeed, engine cylinders and alarms. You can edit the shift lights under there.

The ACES is nothing to do with the stack, except sharing the tacho input. Mine lights up when you turn the ignition on, so yours might be dead? Check cables I guess.
