Does anybody have any experience of this tyre on a Caterham/Lotus 7? I have a Lotus Seven Twincam and am looking for new tyres, I live in Norfolk and the roads round here are awfully bumpy. I never track my car so it is purely a road tyre I am after. If anyone has any better suggestions I am all ears.

The A021-R used to be the 'safe' choice for a cheap, all round road tyre, but now the 888s, Kumhos, et al have come along, you might want to check on Blatchat (the L7C forum) what the current favourite is.

As suggested above the Yokohama AO21R is a good all round tyre. If you have 13" wheels then the 21R in 185/70/13 profile is especially good on bumpy roads at absorbing some of the bumps etc.

Also the best supplier on price for these tyres, £47 inc VAT, is George Polley Motorsport in March, Cambridgeshire.

Or Newdigate Tyres in er, Newdigate, Surrey, who will match the price.

Seconded on the A021s in 70 profile. Stops the tramlining of 15"ers as well. But I have had the odd moment in deep standing water, when they stop being a tyre and start being a boat, when I wasn't so sure.
