If your an after an ex race car that will be scooby speed look at an R400 as a roadsport will simply bore you to tears after a while.
Problem is budget, a R400 that's road legal will be out of my budget. Buying an ex R400 racer would be great for UK trackdays but it will be covering some road miles on sunny Sundays and of course needs to be road legal for the Ring.

I believe a Roadsport, with maybe £2k spent on the engine can get to about 160bhp giving 300bhp/tonne which should be enough... I hope...

I was going to hire a Roadsport from Caterham but I have been offered a new job which means I can't take the time off work which is a little annoying.

To be able to post on Blatchat, you need to be a registered member of the Lotus 7 Club GB and you have an ID number issued which is used for your Blatchat login. Anyone can read the forums and you email (blatmail) the posters direct by clicking on the middle icon next to the date on a thread. So you can search the website and contact people buy you won't be able to post on the site until you are an L7CGB member

Mark, that's the car I suggested to you in my recent mail. Some good bits for the right price. You shouldn't need to be a member of L7 CLub GB to view that forum though
