Of course this is an appalling shot artistically and technically, but for the pride of achievement it speaks volumes. To get here we had to finish the build and jiggle the car out of the cluttered garage (torqueing the A-frame bolts on the way), at 1am on Monday morning.

This included the first drive under the car's own power, up onto the trailer. The drive down to Dartford setting off at 6am was pretty epic, with all the snow, sleet and heavy rain. Alex, my girlfriend and co-builder then drove it off the trailer and parked it up as seen below. Wow!

I've opted for the day at Snet on the 20th of May and also the Dunsfold day (pm slot) on the 30th
I'm keeping an eye on the weather in the hope to attend a day at Brands (or Snet or Bedford or Castle Combe ) where the sun shines
