Time for my contribution.
My first Seven. Sold after I year to Noger who pulled it apart about 10 years ago and has never finished reassembly!

Noger had had it for 9 years when that photo was taken My first Seven. Sold after I year to Noger who pulled it apart about 10 years ago and has never finished reassembly!

My god Le Mans was hot that year, I remember waking up in a very warm tent after drinking far too much cheap red wine the night before

You beat me to it, Yes MB wheels. It was fitted on the K-Series R500's, don't know if standard or an optional extra? They are Mg alloy so lighter or course. Much written on the forums about their pros and cons, I like them and have not been any problem for road use for me. Next year if the job allows I plan to track the car in the UK. After covering 3,500 miles of road use, (of which 70% is on mountain & Alpine roads in France) I am now comfortable with blatting along at 7,000 rpm plus. You can see the wheels in the photo below, plus the Raceco silencer - just hope it will be quiet enough for those UK tracks?search key word mike barnby engineering

Got up at 5am this morning and headed off from Bristol up into the Welsh hills. Bristol - Chepstow - Usk - Abaergavenny - Bleanavon - Brecon (via TopGear road) - Lower Chapel - Upper Chapel - Epynt. What a day for it !
The 7 is now wearing new Toyo R888's which are IMHO a bit too sticky for road use. You have to be brutal to unstick the rears, so maybe i'll get something a little harder next time. That said, we happened across a 997 GT3RS in a layby near Brecon and he tagged along with us up into the Epynt ranges. I pulled out a big lead in the twisties, so maybe the tyres are good after all !
This is a shot of sunrise at a little reservoir near Blaenavon
And a shot of me & a few mates & the nice chap in a Porsche up on Epynt

Hi Folks - fairly new on here & fairly new to the marque"
As an old/ex Mini freak, I've been casually browsing for a Caterham for a couple of years now, but nothing that's come on the market really took my fancy (limited choices here in Norway!), until this one came up for sale in July - a 1968 Lotus S3. It's been rebuilt/restored with a more modern touch by Arch in 95/96 and fairly recently a blacktop 2.0 Zetec conversion inc Jenveys & Omex + host of Raceline goodies and other nice touches . Yes, I know it's not quite original but I'm sure ACBC would very much approve
Cheers,
Neil
