Wiper parts are easy:-
Motor is standard BL Mini/Marina/maxi etc probably fitted on many others too:}
The wheel boxes are again standard,
wipers are standard too.
Easiest way is to buy everything from REDLINE spares in UK who own all the rights to the S4
They maybe slightly more expensive than sourcing all parts your self, but buying from them you know you're gettting the correct parts

I am new to this Forum AND to my 7S4 recently acquired to complement my slowly growing stable of vintage sports. However I would love to "tie'er up" good and solid, why I would dearly appreciate if you could inform the dimensions of the tierods both ends.
I have yellow Spax shocks both ends, however those in the rear were rather off as, when lifted off the ground, the springs were loose to the degree of 10 mm. I have lengthened the piece of distance pipe, which takes up the space between the spring and the adjustment nut, but I am not quite confident in the efficiency of the shocks. The front shocks also seem to be modified cruelly to accept the anti-roll bar ends, why I figure it may be a good idea to source the right stuff. Do you have a hint for shocks?
I would like to "space" the steering wheel 50-100mm to get a) better leverage, b) quicker repsonse and c) easier access. Do you know a "ready to fit" spacer for the S4 steering arrangement?

Good to see another S4 owner posting on here
The top tie bar is approximately 26" centres - but remember this needs to be adjustable to put the bar under tension, easiest way to achieve this is with left and right hand threads [like a turnbuckle] on the adjustment bar, which you can see in the photo's I posted.
The inner diagonal bar I don't have fitted to my car & I can't measure directly from my car because there are too many obstructions in the engine bay, if you have the engine, radiator, bonnet, etc removed then it would be easy to measure this dimension with a tape.
As far as shock absorbers and springs are concerned, bin the old ones, new OEM spec Spax are available off the shelf from 'Redline' spares, for not too much money - they can also supply Spax adjustables. However IMO Spax are not as good as other aftermarket brands such as Avo, Gaz, etc who also make shocks to fit an S4, however you have to order direct from them, and they may have to make them for you. When I rebuilt my car in 2004 I fitted Avo Adjustables to the front and they were excellent, however after 10 years of abuse one of them started leaking, I phoned AVO and they could have rebuilt them though the rebuild turnaround time was 8-10 weeks and I couldn't wait that long so I bought a set of Spax adjustables from Redline, after fitting the Spax the car felt bouncier and clearly the spax are inferior to the AVO's,which contolled the front end much better. I intended getting my Avo's rebuilt, but just haven't found the time to do so. remember the S4 front shocks are the same as the Lotus Europa's, so a possible supplier of different brands off the shelf maybe a Lotus Europa specialist.
As for the steering column, adjustment I have the opposite problem and don't know an easy solution, maybe you could lengthen the column itself by welding an extension to it - good luck if you attempt this, it shouldn't be too difficult if you have a mig welder and a lathe to make the extension piece.

Hi Swompy.
I bought 7" chrome headlamps from RetroClassic Car Parts Ltd of Leintwardine as the originals were shot with rust. The pair with headlamp units and bulbs were £111.24. The quality is reasonable and I've painted the bowls and mounts satin black. They fit the original brackets ok and can be adjusted with a slotted ring spanner.
By the way I fitted those Dunlop tyres you suggested and they give a far better ride than the old Yokohamas.

Questions on S4; Interior electrical rocker switches. Is there a substitute that is close? I think the original switches were from a Ford, MK1 Escort? In the USA, those switches are impossible to find. I have been watching E-Bay UK, little success and when found expensive. A source for adjustable front control arms? I know Banks Europa makes an adjustable front arm (S1 Lotus Europa). Spyder UK does not have an S1 adjustable control arm. Other sources? Convertible tops, "hoods" is there a manufacture of tops? Or each top is custom made?
Still no information on Hajo yet, I assume is he is on holiday and well. Looking forward to having answers and also the depth of information Hajo has. I did note Hajo has a Face book page.....I am not on Face book. Thank you for the information.

Plenty of auto and marine switches out there that may work, but I managed to revive original ones. Redline had a few in stock but I think all were two stage heater switches. The e-bay ex-escort or ex-transit van will be the main source of originals.
Hajo has the adjustable Spyder front wishbones on his car. Mine are Spyder but non-adjustable. Have you asked if they can still supply?
I got a new hood from stock at Redline last year. The hood frame came with my car.

holes on this side of the pond, you call them wOnce again, trying to find contact information on Hajo. He has the capability to manufacture S4 parts that I am in need of. Hajo does not respond to this forum or e-mail address's I have for him. I hope he is well. Does anyone have any information on Hajo? Has anyone contacted Hajo successfully recently? I have a set of new undrilled aluminum cast windscreen side braces that I might not need (these could be the Hajo castings). Thank you for the help.

I would be happy to purchase the windscreen supports, and add my name to the purchase of a hood, with or without frame. It would be good to have a new one. So if you are getting one made then I will also take one and hopefully make someone willing to do the task.
