Retro race colours?

Currently speccing up an R400 and really fancy a retro racing colour scheme for the road. Having seen Chris Coopers race R400 in the Gulf colours my mind has been filled with a road version, however the JPS Lotus colours (black n gold) of the 70's is another favourite. Any other suggestions?
Marlboro? 60s Honda F1? Camel Lotus? 7 Up Jordan? Sasol Jordan? Rothmans Porsche?
I suspect you might regret JPS Lotus very soon after going for it. Looked great on F1 cars in the 70s n(and the odd Europa), but suspect that's where it should stay.
Whatever you choose my strong suggestion is to go with something bright. Bright colours suit the 7 and make you somewhat more visible - a key consideration when driving around in a 200bhp sardine can

Never seen it before on a 7, but as a sugestion-Rothmans blue & white? perhaps a bit dated now tho? I guess the colur is linked mainly to Porsche 956, Escort rally cars, & Honda NSR bikes.
On my Honda-
Maybe blue body & white wheels & nose? it would be a love it or hate it livery for sure.
Just thinking that Coors beer did im sure have a nice green/white paint job for car in CART (or whatever there single seat series is called now) that would pos suit a 7, but ive not got any pics.
Maybe also Hawaian tropic colours? or Camel yellow, or like Suzuki race bikes of a few years back in white (I think) sporting rather non subtle DUREX sponorship
Personally Mclaren Orange (I think its called) does it for me on a 7. (whatever colour Martin H on blatchat 1.6VX was anyway- is what im on about)

Caterham themselves used a derivative of the original Gold Leaf Team Lotus red/white/gold scheme on the Autosport 50th Anniversary Special car in 2000. It looked pretty nice and seemed to suit the Seven. Classic Team Lotus green and yellow is also suitable as many Sevens used that type of scheme "in period".
Jordan ran a couple of Honda Blackbird Sevens a few years ago in Jordan - Benson & Hedges" yellow and that looked good too. BAR also had some "Lucky Strike" Honda powered Sevens for corporate jollies.
I would not think the JPS scheme suits the "boxy" lines of the Seven to be honest.

Wow lots of suggestions coming out now, I'm more confused than ever. The problem is that it will be my 5th Caterham and really fancy something totally different (although still tasteful)! I have to agree that the Honda/BAR livery from a few years back looked very cool although it has been done. I've had Mac orange which is still one of my faves but again I have done that already. The Texaco livery from RS500 Touring Cars just sprung ito my mind as looking very good.
