Does anyone know of a reliable source for 260 duratec rate engine. I noticed cosworth dont have prices for there crate engines anymore.

speak to Cosworth, very helpful guys.....they rebuilt my 2.3 Duratec and were actually cheaper than going to Minister or some of the others and by some way

Another + for Cosworth. Very helpfull Guys, and quick to respond to enquiries. Last time I looked, their 2.3 crate engine was around 8.5k with all ancillaries, and loom. Good value, great heritage!

Long shot I know but Don’t suppose you have the contact number for whoever rebuilt your engine? Or address.... I have a 2.3 That now needs a rebuild!! Thanks

I don't know where you are based but I will recommend Jeff http://www.hwrmotorsport.co.uk/aboutus/ he rebuilt a 2.3 with new cosworth parts for myself 4 years ago and still going strong.

I'd suggest a call to Stuart at Premier Power. His work is superb and he knows his way around a 7. He's built a couple of 2.3 Duratecs used in the Magnificent 7s championship and they have gone on to regularly win races. Last I heard he was re engineering and re building a couple of CSR's for customers. Top bloke too. I'm planning on some work with him on my 360R soon and can't recommend him highly enough.
