mungo, I know the smirnoff has vodka in but the extra short gives it a bit of pep!

I know your penchant for dressing in women's clothes and I suspect there may be some Tarts there too - albeit semiretired.

Thats not called abstaining, thats running out mate.

I have no recollection of drinking at all over thw weekend either..

Back on topic, I think if its a formal black tie do, its supposed to be long dresses, i.e. gowns rather than shorter cocktail dresses. That said, I don't think any of us chaps will complain..

Ball gowns are for ballroom dancing aren't they?

I'll just come in something suitable

I'd be careful who defines suitable. Some of the lads here will have been drinking as its gone 7 now and the suggestions are liable to get them sinbinned..

I do believe, from my recollection of last year's attire, that none of the ladies wore a ballgown (not a bustle in sight...) There were lots of slinky dresses in a variety of lengths, if that helps anyone here with their shopping! All the men were handsomely penguin-ed Scruff, will you treat us to your Lycra outfit again this year, or are you keeping your 'dress' a secret?

This is typical women... it's taken 3 days so far and you still haven't decided what to wear!

And it will take until the same morning to be absolutely certain of the frock! And even then, one might bring a 'spare'. Then, of course, there is the question of accessories! A selection will be brought for the final decision to be made just before you leave the hotel room. Then there's which shoes, polish/unpolished toenails, to wear/not wear tights. You blokes have it easy, with just the penguin suit, but I think the girls have more fun and we do soooo enjoy driving you mad with our 'indecision' It's all part of a Master Plan

No there is an idea Rivergirrl - think Ted should make the blokes wear the frocks and us girls can turn up in the penguin suits.

Hmm, Deb...if you've seen Flashdance, you'd remember the dinner scene...the DJ 'blouse' she was wearing? Or not wearing? That'd have the blokes in a foam!!
