not being funny, but it is strictly dresses/gowns for the ladies isn't it? It's just the G/F is asking....that's if she's still going...
Hope not....cos I'm wearing some very elegant evening trousers.
hmmmm moot point really as I dumped her saturday....how many singletons 18-25 are going? anyone want to meet a car obsessed student?

oh bugger....Now I'm confused Party dress or DJ.........???????????u decide !!!
I have a vague memory of attending a similar function a few years ago with a young lady who wore a velvet trouser suit instead of a ball gown. As I recall, she didn't bother with a bow tie, which would have looked a bit daft without a shirt/blouse.. Caused quite a stir..

Why did it cause a stir?
This could be a daft question, but...
Chaps, is it acceptable to have a silver pocket watch with gold cufflinks?
If not I need to get me some new cufflinks!
Bought my suit last week and I must admit I think I can still carry it off, although the need to wear my pocket watch has forced a waist coat purchase which is not ideal.
