Would there be anyone going to BTaP who would be willing to give a passenger ride in something serious?

The quickest thing I have been in to date is an Elise, which, whilst a fantastic little car didn't really have the grunt to make me feel I was in a truly special car.

I know I'm pushing my luck here but I would love a brief trip in, well anything! But TVR, Ultima, Noble, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Esprit are at the top of my list of dream vehicles.

If anyone would deign to offer me a passenger ride I would be very, very happy - enough so that I may even purchase a few rounds in the evening!

Here's hoping!

I'm sure there will be a few rides going on in the afternoon prior to the event.

I'd be happy to take you out in the Cerbera for a spin - better get rides in the slower cars first to avoid disappointment.

Two of the meanest sounding cars around within 15 minutes of posting!!

I'm hoping to get to the hotel at around 2/3 in the afternoon - gives me time to settle in, go for a swim and start with the beer!

Thanks SO much for the offer guys - even if it's just "around the block" it'll be a momentous occasion for me, and not one I'll forget in a hurry either.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

A very, very excited

I've got a Griff 500 and I'd be happy to oblige, never need any excuse to go for a drive.

I'll also happily accept any jokes about women drivers, but only before someone gets in my car...

Hey Ed, shall we start taking bookings?

If you'll bringing the SLR to the slalom day I would defo like a ride round the cones in that.

(Shall I go on a diet now to improve the power:weight?!)

I realise that the mere fact of owning an SLR infers a degree of madness, but if you think I'm going to drive it all the way to Silverstone you've got another thing coming...

And don't even suggest the trailering lark; I seem to remember competitors got sufficient stick last time for turning up in pixie boots and with gloves, let alone bringing a specialist car.

Had considered the distance JC and guessed you weren't that mad, especially in Novembers weather!

Boots and gloves are fine but there are 10 second penalties for each!

You should change your name to binnedwig!

I'm sure Rovers are lovely, but my shopping car will be faster than your car, so i'll pass up the chance
