Mr Big and TdF are planning to have a round of Golf on the Sunday after BTaP (gives them chance to fully sober up before the drive home). Think they are only planning to do the 9 hole jobbie rather than the full monty.

Anyone else out there fancy a game? Think I read somewhere a post by Mrs Fish saying the 9 hole is about £22. If you are interested email me through my profile and perhaps we could get a mini PH tournament.

Debs,

I was going to try and get a game in, dunno what what course or when. I did try to book but apparently you can't book before 48hour beforehand

Ben - that could be good. Bring your clubs anyway and perhaps you guys can make a decision in the morning. Just incase it is raining.

I asked about this when I booked my room they said to me you have to advance book (more than 48hours beforehand) as the event is not a golfing break.

Another call to confirm is probably in order

Count me in - I haven't played since March... hmm, that makes my average cost per round so far this year £77.77!!!

OK Guys - will contact you a week or two beforehand to sort out the details. Meanwhile, thought you might like a sneaky preview at the competition. TdF and Mr Big.

Right - I have phoned the golf course (01327 705506) and we can only book 2-7 days beforehand. There is a special weekend rate for the 18 hole golf course which is £20. The 9 hole course is £22.50. On the Sunday they have a 12 noon tee off available at the moment. Those who have expressed an intrest in playing include.

I will phone up on Monday and book 6 places unless you tell me otherwise.

I'm only 50/50 at the moment as I'm not sure if I'll be up and about by 12, let alone being able to hit a ball

Deb's, I'll go with the majority 9 or 18 my preference being for 18 holes, we could always bailout if the hangovers are to bad.

Ah.. sorry Debs, noon is a bit late for me, I have a bonfire party to get back for which kicks off about 4pm.

Shame, was looking forward to that...

Guess I will book the 18 hole course (as it is cheaper) - if it gets too much you can skip holes 10-18 and go straight to the 19th

Think he is due to make it to BTaP. Had a mail from him a month or so ago he has been quite busy.
