Simon, surely you are not letting the 'new' girlfriend have run of your credit card? I've been with Fish 3 and a half years and not yet managed it. What am I doing wrong?

No free run on the credit card just yet.. From past experience, the accessories tend to cost as much as the dress and with her birthday soon on the horizon..

OMG, I haven't given a minutes thought about what to wear yet......

Must go shopping at the weekend, any suggestions where?

Thank God, someone else who doesn't yet have the dress, shoes, gloves, diamante thong

I did go looking last Saturday in Windsor with RiverGirrl, but wasn't inspired (tho' I did get a rather nice pink top in Fenwick's )

I'm thinking maybe blue, to match my car, but it depends what I see. Let me know when/how you get on, chim_girl! with the shopping, podie, with the shopping...

If anyone is looking for gloves, John Lewis on Oxford Street had more than I could shake a stick at(well an umberella then as I wasn't carrying a stick at the time!). So many colours to choose from. I've found my dress!. Slinky black number with FEATHERS (only smiley with feathers)! oohh!. Got the shoes, just the jewellery to find now?. I'm sure Steve_T will be delighted when he reads this .

Well I've been shopping, spent a small fortune; two tops, very nice winter coat, pair of trousers, underwear, perfume. Still no dress!!! I went everywhere but couldn't find anything. I'm going to be working in Manchester this week, fingers crossed that Selfridges have something. If not, It'll have to be my birthday suit !

I've been working in Manchester for the last 3 months and some of the girls have been going on about Harvey Nic's being a top place for dresses - expensive mind, but a good choice so it may be worth a look!

Is this glove thing on for all the girls, coz Mrs H is going shopping tommorrow and want's to know if she needs to look for some gloves

HH.

You can tell Mrs H that I won't be wearing gloves. The only gloves I own are Marigolds, worn when cleaning the car! Somehow I can't imagine wearing yellow rubber to BT&P!
