It's fur coat /no knickers isn't it.

I've always heard it as red dress no knickers
In the grim North it is usually Fur Coat and No Knickers.

Unless you are in Wigan, where its just No Knickers.

Except the posh ones, who are mostly "Oi, Ts First, yer bastard..."

Cheers

Pat.

I've been working in Manchester for the last 3 months and some of the girls have been going on about Harvey Nic's being a top place for dresses - expensive mind, but a good choice so it may be worth a look!

Yup, and Selfridges have a few, but the selection in each was depressingly small. So I'm told, I was just carrying the bags..

There is a small shop off St Annes Sq in an arcade that had a fair number of dresses.. Sorry, can't remember the name of the place as I was getting a bit low on blood sugar by that time..

Oh crikey, I haven't even started looking yet . I had wantd to go on Saturday but Bobski had installed me on Ride Drive so that the rest of the British public would be safe. So still no dress, but my driving has improved (not too difficult)

Well, I still don't have anything yet - my weekend was also more driving orientated - with hubby to look at/buy a 20 yr old Landie, then to get my car back, so still need to shop.

Chim girl, when I go out for something, I nearly always come back with something else, sounds like a good haul you got there!

Cos my mum always sews them together with a long piece of string so I dont lose them....and it would look silly if I wear a backless dress
