Are Astra VXRs selling?

Had a look on eBay, pistonheads & Autotrader and they seem to all be commanding a high price but i wonder are they actually selling?

I am just about to put my 2009 (09) Astra vxr up for sale (once the alloys are referbed and a bit of bodywork repaired) its in black, 2 owners, 48,000miles. Full service history. Gearbox rebuild (and strengthened bearings) a year ago. Upgraded, cross drilled brakes. Usual factory spec + cruise control. Angel tuning stage1 map - 265bhp.

There is 4 good tyres (less than four months old) The MOT till December, Tax till December too.

Glasses says i should look at around £9300 - but i was thinking around £8900 Is that a fair price?

Well considering i didn't even get a reply to the post i would say they are NOT selling!!

Being a VXR owner myself I think they have a big following, as to prices I have no idea.

Just to add insult to injury i won't be putting it up until late august now which is going to cause more issues with how to price it!

Why don't you pop it on at strong money now and see what happens, I have always found that if I don't want to sell something people want it.

Just a thought as you never know.

Theres some bodywork that needs making good and the bodyshop i have booked it into can't touch it until second week in august - There's a dent in the rear quarter and a scratch in the bonnet (bonnet to be replaced and painted). Both incidents that have happened while the car was parked, me not in it and notes not left i would like to add!

Can't really advertise it until its perfect.
