As per the title really chaps. I'm keen on the idea of one of the above, having driven lots of them... however my fun car allowance isn't what it used to be...
Not an Elise I wouldn't have thought, but 2.2 VX220s might just about get there - in fact I know of a purple 2.2 being sold for £7500. Get yourself over to vx220.org and into the Facebook group and you'll see most cars for sale that way.
I bought mine for about that price about 3 years ago. Unlikely to find one now! Given the age of them, I'd add a couple of grand onto the purchase price for unseen issues, particularly if you do decent mileage in it.
