N/A VX220 insurance plus trackday insurance

Hi
Firstly,no doubt a topic covered before but have seen postings for insurance as my three yr old vx is due again - current insurer(NFU) have put premium up 30%! as have claim going to court(van hit me in bum at r'bout - everyone says will go my way etc). NFU are still "taking it to court" one year on - thus I presume they get to hike my insurance. Been told some insurers will consider claim as pending - anyone got any experience/advice on this?
Secondly, I'd like to take car on track for first time soon. It's completely unmodified, about to need new rear tyres and I'd appreciate any advice on
1) who/how to insure it for the day without voiding normal insurance
2) advice/tips on taking it to track - Oulton/Cadwell as in west yorks.
