Explanation from Andy was they ran out of parts but they have loads of black rag tops in dealers unsold, my dealer cannot get any information - I have asked for a gesture and may still cancel out of sheer pissed offness as I am not so "in lust" I have to have it and have it now - a year ago it was a good replacement for my E500 convertible - I havent had a rag top for a year and havent really missed it.Plus I am launching my new business imminently so poor timing.

Hang in there, mine's supposedly being built today after being told August originally. I think this car will be a keeper and something hopefully very different and worth the wait and I've given up looking for alternatives. Plus I am launching my new business so poor timing.

I have window sticker and ETIS has updated with car details, was supposedly built 22jan! Getting excited again now.

At the weekend, a colleague of mine put a deposit down on a CO V8 Manual, and has been quoted October for delivery. A week or so back, sas out for a meal with him and a couple of others, talking cars as you do, and I mentioned my savings are about 3/4 there to a V8. Always wanted a Mustang. Yadda yadda. Inspired him - and he's picked the same colour!

Put my deposit down on 28/1/15 collected the car today on 28/1/16, coincidence? Not sure, but very happy anyway.
Magnetic is definitely dull under poor light, but amazing under sunlight as others have said. Not as bold as some orange / red cars, but suits us (middle aged!) choice in cars.
Loving the rag top, but the exhaust is definately not throaty enough, it's far too quiet (shame they don't have an Aston fuse 22 to pull out). Have ordered the Ford Racing Sports Exhaust which they tried to be delivered today but we were collecting the car, go the irony!
