Gloucester Ford have black v8 auto coupe onsite, black leather and custom pack made up from 3 separate upgrades to keep black alloys and window trim. Cancelled order, ready for buyer to pick up this week.

That's not custom pack then wink

Options are therefore rear parking sensors, heated seats and Shaker Pro/navi smile

Ah so what's missing then ? Thought it was just the chrome trim around windows and silver wheels, which was reason original buyer species it separately to keep it all black.

No - you're right, I was just being pedantic re. your wording smile

Custom pack is:
Chrome window trim
Silver 'nickel' wheels
Shaker Pro
Parking sensors
Climate seats

So it's a standard GT with all options bar custom pack (which includes said options but also has chrome trim and silver wheels) smile

Just me being an ar$e out of frustration waiting for mine!!

I rang around a couple of weeks back, ended up buying a v8 manual in orange, been built and in transport.

Think in 8-10 weeks when they start coming through there might be a few buyers not taking them and more available but for now they are very thin on ground. Mainly offered ecoboosts or ones with an odd spec, eg custom pack and silver stripes over bodywork with brown seats etc

Welcome to PistonHeads.

Hopefully more direct communication from Ford will stop people like this trying to cash in. http://www.mocgb.net/forums/showthread.php?70576-2...

Hey Andy, nice to see you posting on here. Karen has been trying to find out where my car is - original order was absolute black, custom pack V8 manual, order L3685. I have VIN, no window sticker and I ordered in December 2014. Karen has been trying but we can't even find out if my car has been built. Not good as I paid deposit last year and Ford themselves told me my car would be one of the first, built in August and hopefully delivered October. If there is a cancelled order that is similar spec I would be interested.

I'll also PM you in case you don't see this post.

Welcome to PistonHeads Andy!

For those who don't know, Andy is Chairman and Managing Director of Ford UK. He has already signed up to some of the other Mustang forums to help address Mustang order issues directly (cough ,mine being one of them wink ), so his appearance here is very welcome.

I noticed this morning it had gone. Don't know if the OP deleted it or one of the mods.

I am pleased to advise that we will be establishing a help desk to help customers find the nearest unsold Mustang of their choice going forwards.
The intention is to match customers to unsold cars in dealer stock or that are "in transit"

This will ensure that cars in dealer stock will always be "factory fresh" and we can shorten delivery times to the shortest possible

More details including the dedicated email address very shortly

That's great Andy, and good on you for joining social media and helping your dealers fill their gaps together with the marketing spin (you're ex sales aren't you?)

It would be really good if you could explain how the waiting list order appears to be completely screwed. UCL winners still without cars (they were the first 500 delivered, remember?) and people similar to me (ordered 28/1/15), still without a car, yet others that ordered in May '15 that have already taken delivery of theirs.

I'm not having a pop, but your organisation appears to be shot to pieces, so I'm interested to understand how you prioritised delivery.

He who shouts the loudest maybe? Maybe I need to get my megafone out.....
