GT Transmission noise

Enjoying my first days of Mustang ownership immensely. Just one thing, are the manual transmissions quite noisy or is it just bad sound proofing ? I here the noise at slow speed from the front of the transmission tunnel, in the Shaker logo area, when under load I do not notice it.
Do I need to be concerned ?

Some are noisier than others but in short, no.

Plenty of Steeda fixes for a wobbly standard transmission.. NVH can be increased with fitting, but at least the noise is consistent. A much better gear change after fitting a couple of £30 parts too...
