Just found this pic of my dads 350 ss he had it circa 1998 and loved his cars

No wonder he loved it --every time he passed that Metro i bet he thanked his lucky stars he had the balls to be different!

Yes it had some engine work done to it and cherry bombs you could hear it from quite a distance! And when sat with the engine running the body would rock from side to side

It has a RS front end on it, was it a 350 RS/SS ?

The lights, split bumpers, grill & complete front panel are all different on the RS or RS/SS only, so the parts must have been added later.
