Hi all,

I currently drive an '08 Corvette convertible which I've owned from new. It's been 100% reliable, but after 10+ years it's time for a change... I've always had a soft-spot for Mustangs (my rental-car of choice whenever I've been to the US) and I'm very tempted by a 2018 face-lift GT convertible.

I've got a test-drive lined up at the weekend in a GT 10-speed auto, but I'm wondering whether or not it's worth going for the MagneRide? Has anybody had the chance to do a back-to-back comparison with and without the MagneRide? (My personal preference is to keep it simple...but as with the 'Vette it'll be a long-termer so I want to go with the "best" option)

I test drive a 2016 a couple of times and then ordered a 2018 with magneride. Had it 6 months now and can say for me it's night and day. The fact you can change settings to suit makes it worth the money to me. Standard setting it soaks up the lumps and bumps well with it getting firmer as you move through sport and race onto drag mode.
