There are more novel graphics options, such as Roush.

Or black. Black on blue is just wrong.

S550 needs stripes or something to give a more muscle look.
That blue maybe not the easiest to stripe.
BUT have a look at some of the GT350R stripes on that colour -now thats smart

Has to be white stripes on blue, although works better with a darker blue. Maybe silver as an alternative.

If you do want some black on it, why not go old-school and have a matt black bonnet?

On that, because of the light interior, the chrome window trim, and the silver wheels, I’d go with a matt silver colour matched to the wheels.

If it helps with your decision these are 8" matt grey stripes with a white pin stripe. Personally, I love them and think they take the looks of the car to the next level.

On a blue car it's white or silver stripes I reckon.

I personally like ghost stripes particularly on black cars.

I'm looking to go a bit different. I want stripes but not the whole length of the car. Silver with graphite to match the wheels.

No stripes is cool see my 2012 Shelby

and the new 350GTR will have no stripes
Avalanche white with Black Roof Carbon spoiler etc.

Don't get me wrong - personally I don't do stripes, so I'm with you. But if others want to do stripes I'm happy to pontificate smile

Have to say though, a Mk1 Capri GT XLR with a black bonnet (or a Mk1 Escort with the same) just looks right...

Anyone had problems with their stripes after a short time of being fitted? Mine looks awful and looks similar to looking at lacquer peeling from paintwork. Bloody annoyed after spending good money having them fitted.

No probs with mine ,but only been on 2 weeks. I was assured that they are the best quality and are said to be good for at least 10 years Apparently there are good and bad quality vinyls ,some fade ,peel, crack etc . I was told not to use jet wash and they should be fine .

I had Martini stripes on mine for over three years and they looked every bit as good as the day they were put on.

They were a satin finish too and the guy even said they're not likely to last very long as it wasn't the kind of thing they usually install on cars (or outdoors, can't remember).

Sounds like your installer has used a piss-poor type of vinyl. How much did you pay and for what exactly?
