Be careful where you buy it from.
Desert States such as Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico and inland California don't suffer from rust. No salt on the roads in winter.
East coast. If it's more than 30 minutes old, it has rust. biggrin
The car is going to be a 2017-2019 Model so I doubt it will have chance to deteriorate... well i hope so. Doesn't buying on east coast save you a ton of money in shipping etc???

No, US dealers are not allowed to sell for export, you could go over and buy one if you have somewhere to register the vehicle,of course this will mean paying sales tax but once it is registered you can export it back here
Really?
I bought direct from a dealer in New York.
We both arranged shipping.
It arrived in UK, and I paid the required taxes.
I bought my Saleen new direct for export back in 2006, the yanks changed the rules a few years ago on new vehicles

Buying something this new and special it won’t matter where it comes from. Just make sure it has a clean title. Typically the cars from the states that use salt have lower mileage because they are stored during the winter.

Yes, shipping will be much less if you find one on the East Coast.

Mustangs rust really fast. Just because it’s a Shelby badged one won’t deter the corrosion from taking hold. You have approx 4 yrs before the corrosion shows through on mustangs full stop regardless of salt etc. The aluminium panels oxidise in that time because Ford doesn’t prep them properly.
