The original GT500 was awesome looking. I kinda wish they'd stopped making 'Stangs. They don't look anywhere near as good as the first ones.


The new ones, this one included, look good, but not as good as the older designs. Just in the same way the new Miura doesn't look as good as the original.

I prefer the stock article myself. This one has tried too hard to echo the nose of the Cobra and it isn't a Cobra, it's a Mustang.

Ford screwed up. It was a mate who's into mustangs that pointed out that the line down the side of the car has no hips by the rear quarter panels. Thats the big difference and thats why it doesn't look quite right. I like the idea of the 5.4 supercharged V8, my lightning runs the same engine and goes well. The retro Dodge Challenger looks spot on.
