Hey,

I need to know the emissions Co2 value for the Mustang V8. Does anyone have this information.
I am looking at either a tuned Stang or the Charger SRT8 for a company car and need to know the rating for tax purposes.
Cheers

No idea but you will probably find that the stock Charger is a better bet as it has the cylinder deactivation and I'm pretty sure the SRT8 doesn't. But buy the Stang anyway or wait for the Challenger.

Edit to say I found the C02 figure for the Chrysler 300C Hemi because they produce it for Europe. I don't think there is an official figure for cars not imported into Europe.

300C
C02 emissions: 287g/km (3.0 CRD 215g/km; 3.5 V6 262g/km)

By comparison the Monaro 5.7 is 365 and the 6.0 VXR 360.

Top bracket for company cars is 240 gm/km (35% of list taxable benefit), so it's probably safe to assume that you will be well into that bracket with all of your choices. American Carriage Company may have more Mustang info since they are selling new Roush modified cars.
