My wife's just called me about a new shape Mustang convertible that she has just seen on fire. I said are you sure it was an '05 up like mine. She said she's positive it was just like my 2005 Mustang.
Unknown if it was a GT or V6. But it was a black convertible. My wife says it looked like it was coming from the back edge of the bonnet and lapping over the roof. Smoke was seen to be coming out of the other edges of the bonnet. She didn't stop at the time, but on her way back she said it was about to be loaded onto a lorry, her words were "pretty gone!".
Being a Mustang owner, I am obviously saddened to hear of someones misfortune with their car. The car was on the main road between High Wycombe and Princes Risborough (Bucks), anyone on here?
Also, it's begs the question. Anyone heard of stories regarding the new shape Mustang bursting into flames?
I'm going to start carrying a fire extinguisher!
