This is based on various 'tests' on the internet that I have found for similar set ups to my car... a little bit more grunt added for the extra 2 degree's of advance for running Shell V-Power.
I prefer the normally aspirated engine over supercharging. What I really want is for Ford to make a 5-litre version of this engine with 350 to 400 bhp, hopefully in the 2010 model.

Unfortunately, I couldn't wait for Ford to produce a normally aspirated 5 litre for you to trade up to, and therefore enable me to buy yours, so I had no option but to buy mine instead I don't mind saying, Zektor, but it was your car that sold me on the Razors. Whilst I still love the classic look of the Torq Thrust Bullitts, the Razors do add a lot of aggression to the look. I'm glad I took the "riskier" option.

How are you finding the ride and extra grip levels? Is yours running the Pro-Kit?
That's a good point. I also like the fact the Razor is still a "Mustang specific" wheel........well, I've never seen one on any other type of car.
Very early days, as I only fitted them yesterday, but a quick roadtest confirmed the steering was a degree or two sharper, but what amazed me was the ride........it feels, if anything, better. It's no harsher and feels much more "planted" than before. Mine's got Ford Racing springs which I think lowers it to around the same height as the Eibach Pros.

Zektor--you bonnet will look good once on
Bennyc looking forward to all the supercharger photos and hopefully some of you and mike throwing spanners around with frustration --loving your work and hope it all comes together.
Hope to see you all on Sat 26th July at our BBQ in Luton when all the mods are done.

Ahem, where did you get those wheels? And are they slightly grey? I really like them. (really really like them) I don't know about Zektor, but mine came from Northants Tyres (in Aldershot). Mine are anthracite too, although the bright sunshine and camera flash has made them appear more silver.
Northants are doing a special at the moment, wheels/tyres/chrome valves/chrome nuts for £995 +vat (actually, Ozza and I managed to get them for £940 +vat). Not cheap, but a bargain for Shelby Razors as you'll pay nearer £1500 just for the wheels elsewhere. If you want the contact details, just shout.

I think I was the first person to get them in at North Hants Tyres. I had used them before for some Corvette alloys. When I ordered the 'Razors' I had to be very precise about the spec and part numbers so they could source the correct fitment for me. I think they have been ordering the same wheels ever since!

I've got to say, I really like the styling of these wheels. One of the best designs that compliments the new Mustang.
There is another set of wheels that I really like the look of as well. And that is the 20" wheels as used on the GT500 'KR'. 'Shelby Forged' is written on the rim. I believe they call these wheels 'Alcoa'. They are expensive though, but likely to be lighter than the 'Razors'. That was the only downside to fitting the Razors, they are 10 pounds heavier per corner than the stock wheels. There was a noticeable dent in performance after fitting them. I've had to tune the engine further to make up for the loss... Ha! Ha!
