Ref: M5 me too. It is my workday car so 54,000 miles with a stupid grin on my face in the nearly 3 years I've had it.
It trackdays well too at the right circuit but prefer the TVR for that kind of fun.

[quote=B19TOY] What was your quote in the end ?

Around £900 with full ncb. Mind you I am in my mid 40's, clean licence and a rural Leeds postcode.

Not sure how much difference rural makes to the price. I insured the Griff last year when living in Doncaster(Hexthorpe, rough area). Moved to a rented house in a better area but still in town and price remained same. Moved out to the country in a small village with 15 houses in the grounds of Wiseton Hall(ie very quiet) and my premium went up £65!! Phoned insurers stating my new post code made my home insurance cheaper and they said the price is not worked out on the post code/risk of area as such but by how many people with that particular insurer had made claims in your area for whatever reason!!!!
So some guy living near you, who has his car insured with the same insurance company as you, crashes his car and makes a claim and this affects your premium because that post code is flagged up.
What a load of B!!!!!ks. Moral is find an insurer with no claims in your area.
