I'll have to give it a crack. Time to be cheeky and ask if you still have a spare copy? Do you want anything for it?
I've PM'd you.

I got the great value 3 game bundle from greemangaming but still want to play through the first Bioshock before playing Infinite. I did install and run the benchmark though and wow it looks gorgeous!

Hmmm. I dunno. I'm enjoying it so far, but currently it's feeling a bit empty and soulless. After the first two Bioshocks, Dishonored, and (to some extent) Fallout3, it feels... I dunno... a little tired and clichéd. Stale even. Maybe it will pick up soon, and I'm sure I will see it through to the end (I generally do on games, apart from famously ditching Mass Effect 2 after 20 mins because I *really* hated it), but right now I really feel like I am going through the motions with it.

People who know me well know that I am rarely negative, so I'm quite surprised by my reaction.

So stick that inside a 'spoiler' tag like we've been doing. rolleyes

If you're not sure how, just quote one of our posts and you'll see.
I didn't say anywhere what happens so I didn't feel the need for tags

Ah, sorry. I misread what you wrote. When you said "Spoiler guys..." you meant us (as in the guys using spoiler tags). I completely misread that as "This is a spoiler, guys..." and that's why I said to put it in a spoiler tag. Classic misunderstanding on my part. Sorry about that! biggrin

Just got this and wow!

Only played to where you rescue Elizabeth - but it's stunning so far...

It doesn't have that claustrophobic scary atmosphere of the first two, but it's good so far.

Have you seen Anna Moleva? She was spotted imitating the look and was hired for the live action promotional commercials and they like it so much they tweaked Elizabeth in game to look more like her.

I loved the first Bioshock game. Reckon I've completed it, and then deleted it at least 3 times. Brilliant story. Bioshock 2 was an ok follow up, but I never had the same urge to play it after I completed it.

I thought I'd have a look at this thread as I want something new to play this weekend, and its really out of BSI or GOW. My local Tesco have BSI for £35 on Xbox, anyone else know of any cheaper deals about please?

Right, a few hours in now, and this is superb...

I was wondering if all the hype about Elizabeth's AI was a bit much, but as the game has gone on, i can see it now, and the facial expressions convey so much (just had a conversation in a lift where she got the arse.. Worked really well)

Also, I thought it was a bit linear, but after a couple of large scale battles, including one where you could run round loads to get health and ammo away from the troops, found a back way to flank them and get onto a ship to take out the snipers and then pick off everyone else... Not to mention being able to use the wires during combat, that's good fun smile

just been doing the bit where you jump through tears to alternative worlds, and it was messing with my head a bit, then Elizabeth suggests may be creates these alternate realities... It's really got me intruiged..

Oh, and you have to love the hand cannon - one shot kill, and a headshot takes the whole head off hehe

Well, after her original outfit getting dirtier, torn, and blood soaked, Elizabeth has finally got changed...

Another great little thing I noticed, was at one point I was wandering round an area looking for goodies, suddenly realised she wasn't following me, so had to look for her, and there she was leaning against a railing staring at the view... As soon as I headed off in the direction of the quest she started following again... smile

this is a great game, though I keep seeing the parallels to the first one. The setups are quite similar.

Its a good looking game as well, Unreal 3 engine still producing the goods. Just wish I had my Xbox back because I still cannot pilot the Dual Shock 3 for love nor money. The sticks are just odd... huge dead zone, then everything at once. Turning down the sensitivity doesn't help because then I turn and look a lot slower than I'd like when it does work. The look speed is actually fine, its just the way the controller gives you nothing, then like a VAG PD Turbo Diesel, you get everything at once. No linearity to it.

Should probably buy a new controller... and as Sony will be persisting with controller design (and shoe horning extra crap on to it) for the PS4, I fear it will be MS who will end up with my money. The DS is not really an ergonomic master piece.
