Can anyone explain what the latest Rivals event on Motegi East is all about?
It's the new SEMA one in the FRS/GT86, it gives you 3 laps and as far as I can tell it takes an average time from all three but I'm at least 20 seconds down and I can't figure out why. My quickest lap was a 1:38... and all three were clean, but it shows as 2:04... on the leaderboard.
It drove me up the wall last night trying to figure out where I was going wrong.

When I tried it the recorded time was for all three laps total, while my rival (someone from the club) was for a single lap.
Brilliant, cheers mate. i did have a quick look on their forums last night but I couldn't find anything.
I know what I did now though, I carried on and quit out half way round my second lap so the total time was 2:04, if I had quit out as soon as I crossed the line it would have been a proper standing start time instead.
I'll leave it now, I doubt the glitch will be an easy fix.

I've been racing public lobbies for a while with the odd organised event now and then with other clubs.
I don't think we've had a night of racing with the PH regulars for a long time , it would be good to get something going again. Coincidentally I still have all the B495 cars I tuned for John's classic events in my garage.

Fatty, you know you had that problem with your forza disc, how was it resolved? New disc? I have to repeatedly punch the top of it to make it work

Or, a new DVD drive if you're good at that sort of thing. It was a strange problem, every other disc worked fine so it could be a case of the save file being too big to read or something equally bizarre.

ks. Can't afford that atm Just booked my theory and a bunch of driving lessons. I'll take it apart and see what I can see. I am very familiar with the internals of the Xbox, so should be able to fix it.
